About this item
Beautiful mid 19th century giltwood mirror. Oblong shaped frame which has been wired and hung in the portrait but could easily be set into landscape. Has reclining open scroll carved frame design with strong support finials at the corners for strength. There are some very small bits of the fine carving areas of the frame that have been knocked of but this is conducive to age. The mirror plate is believed to be original with a strong bevelled cut and is clear and clean.

Very good with some gilt marked through age.
