About this item
A lovely clear glass ice pail with star cut base, mounted with silver rim with swing handle. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1902, makers Thomas Latham & Ernest Morton, partial marks to the handle.
Provenance: Estate of descendants of the Earls of Denbigh and of Robert Heath (Biddulph Grange).
It measures 13.2cm (5 3/16") high to the rim, 21.2cm (8 3/8") high including the handle and 12cm (4 11/16") wide.
Condition is very good with no damage or repair and only minor surface wear including a couple of very tiny dinks to the silver.
