Flavio Poli design for Società Veneziana di Conterie e Cristallarie
He left Seguso in 1963. From 1964 to 1966 he led the artistic glass division of the Società Veneziana di Conterie e Cristallerie.
Poli died in 1984. A number of his works are in the Murano Glass Museum, the National Gallery of Victoria, Australia, and MoMA in New York.

Corroso bugnato Technique (Acid etched) It is used for unevenly corroded surfaces due to the use of rough wood shavings. An object is submerged in such shavings over which acid is then sprinkled. The wood absorbs the acid and affects the glass surface in an uneven way due to the irregular contact with the shavings.
The vivid solid green base shows the excellent use of the ‘Sommerso’ technique (Different colour layers)
