    About this item

A superb pair of extra-large early Victorian, slice-cut Bristol green glass decanters in the ‘bludgeon’ shape with solid teardrop shaped stoppers and star-cut bases, Circa 1840s, possibly by Richardson of Stourbridge. These large beauties hold a massive 1.2 litres each and weigh a sturdy 1.660 kg each! In excellent conditon, one stopper looks like it might have been ground down in the past but a good fit.
