    An excellent quality original Art Deco English silver plated and glass cocktail shaker acid etched with a cockerel, by James Dixon, Sheffield, Circa 1930. This extra large piece of vintage barware is stamped to say it holds 1.5 pints of liquid. In good working vintage condition with only small wear to rim.

    James Dixon was one of the great English silversmiths of the 19th and early 20th Centuries, renowned for creating good quality barware. His hallmark is always to be found inside the lid of the cocktail shaker (see images).
