    A late 19th Century English spring detent chronometer in a gold open face case. Gilt half plate keyless movement with going barrel. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring.

    Earnshaw type spring detent chronometer escapement. White enamel dial marked "Chronometer", subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands.

    Plain 18 carat open face case, gold cuvette with presentation inscription, maker's mark "JW" in an oval.
