    This is a medieval silver penny of King Henry III of England, struck at the London Mint between 1216 - 1247 AD.

    Obverse: ҺЄNRICVS RЄX (King Henry) Legend around crowned facing bust, holding sceptre.

    Reverse: +RAVLF ON LVNDE (Raulf of London) Legend around voided cross, with four pellets in angles.

    It is an excellent example in VF condition of a good weight.
