An Attractive Cross Framed Savonarola Chair beautiful carved piece with a male head to centre and with floral detail and further detail to arms and legs . A new leather seat has been added and Seat Height is 39 cm
The name “Savonarola” (the most common name for the chair)* derives from a chair found in the convent of San Marco in Florence which was used by the 15th century Italian Dominican priest Girolamo Savonarola.
