A near pair of Charles II oak side chairs from the Derbyshire/ South Yorshire area.The top rail with three arches and cusped edges,,raised on turned spindles ,the bottom rail with carved moulding.Panel seats above turned supports united by stretchers.The one seat has an underside with incribed outline for intended carving which has ben repurposed in this chair.Good colour and condition , the chairs have a few old repairs to the underside of the feet.English Circa 1680.
