A very rare museum quality 19th Century Black Forest Bear coat or stick stand, comprising of two magnificently hand carved bears executed with incredible workmanship and attention to detail. The mother bear is set within the tree branches, encouraging her cub to ascend to the top of the tree. The tree branches themselves form the coat hooks whilst the mother bear leans upon a shaped branch which forms the holder for canes, walking sticks and umbrellas, all supported on a naturalistic drip pan base.
