    About this item

A very handsome mirror, made using hand carved oak cornice dating to C.1890. The oak cornice was reclaimed from "The Breakfast Room", Witley Park House near Godalming. The cornice features fine egg and dart detailing and a leaf in each corner. The caved oak frame has been fitted with a piece of new mirror glass. As the oak used for the frame is reclaimed there are some character signs of its age. The oak has some small knocks and chips and there is some light discolouration and scratches in places. Please see pictures for details. The mirror is a stunning item using beautiful hand carved oak and it will make a wonderful feature for a home.
