    About this item

Later 19th/early 20th century Italian Florentine mirror with carved wood frame. Probably once gilded, the frame is now an attractive mixture of cream and stone coloured gesso with hints of gold leaf remaining. The mercury glass plate has plenty of age and gives a subtle reflection complementing the age in the frame. However, the mirror plate could be changed for a clearer piece from the same period, if required.
