    This is an antique mantlepiece jardiniere. A French, ceramic and gilt metal display planter, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

    Distinctive form, with appealing colour and finish

    Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order

    Clear, bright ceramic accentuated with colourful foliate bouquets

    Lightly aged gilt metal presents mellow golden tones

    Unusual handles add a flourish to the gilt rim

    Opening diameter of 12.5cm (5") - ideal for smaller houseplants
