Vintage toleware Hot-Water can c1900

This wonderful painted tin or toleware "Hot-Water" can is in "as found" condition.
These cans would have been used in large houses or institutions for carrying hot water around different rooms.

The can has retained much of its' lovely 'faux' wood grain paint work and chocolate brown lining to the edges, this has a lovely depth of colour, however, there are some marks, scuffs and scratches you would expect from a used item of this age.
The stylish black lettering to the top is clear and legible with no breaks and rubbing.
