A superb primitive and charming scrimshaw horn beaker decorated with many symbols and initials, dated 1871......the symbols include heart, ale jug and mug, churchwarden's pipe and a tripod table. The beaker is initialed HG above the date 1871. The underside of the original wooden base is scratched with the initial H and a star. ..... in good condition, with normal wear for a domestic item.
