About this item
This is the first early Skillet I have had of this type....it is made completely of brass and would probably have been used in the Apothercary....it has visible lathe marks underneath which is so pleasing to see and even has the makers stamp on the end of the long flat handle....it looks like the remnants of the cross with pellets mark which was very much used in the 17thc for domestic items.
English. C1640-60.
