About this item
An early 19thc circular sycamore flummery mould, which would have been used in the large kitchen of a Manor House or Farmhouse...it is of angled design and its interior is nicely carved with vertical ribs around the side..... the base is carved with a floral decoration .....it stands upon a turned raised plynth, which also acts as a handle to help remove the contents. ......the colour and patina are very good and there are no cracks or chips.
