About this item
An early 20th century, chrome plated brass, cruciform pastry tool with a bakelite handle. To the end this has a heavy wheel for trimming the edge of a pie and to the sides are decorative stamps, one circular and one diamond shaped. The handle is made from bakelite which was an early form of plastic often used for kitchen utensils. There is a small ring in the end of the handle so that the tool can hang. It is in very good condition and it dates from c.1920.
