    An attractive silver fish slice with pierced detail to the blade depicting a fish swimming in seaweed. Bright cut engraving picks out the detail of the fish scales and face. Further decorative engraved pattern around the edge and to the area of join with the handle which is plain with a simple engraved initial M. 

    Hallmarked for London 1840, maker Benjamin Stephens.

    It measures 32cm (12 1/2") long, 7.2cm (2 7/8") wide and 4.7cm (1 7/8) high. It weighs 145g/ 4.7ozt. 

    Condition is excellent with no damage or dents and very light surface wear, the engraving and hallmarks are lovely and crisp.
