About this item
A scarce George III purse shaped silver vinaigrette. Made in Birmingham by Samuel Pemberton in 1817. There is bright cut engraving all over the surface and the letters "HRL" in the cartouch. The interior has original gilding and a grill pierced with flowers. The base, lid and grill are all hallmarked. This is a beautiful piece of Pemberton's work.
