    About this item

    A large George III silver vinaigrette made in Birmingham in 1814 by Thomas Shaw. The top and base have imitation bamboo castings and the interior has original gilding. There are a full set of hallmarks on the lip of the base and part marks on the grill which is fret cut with flowers and sunbursts. The vinaigrette is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. A great item for a collection.
