    Lovely large Georgian silver nutmeg grater in the form of a coopered barrel. 

    Hallmarked inside the lid and base for Birmingham 1810, maker Matthew Linwood.

    It measures 5cm high by 3cm across and weighs 34g/1.1ozt (excluding the grater, 39g with). 

    Condition is very good, there is a small dint at either end but no others, no damage or repairs and surface wear is light and appropriate for age and use.
