About this item
A 19th century, French, cast iron coffee mill made by Peugeot. This is in lovely, near original condition. The cast iron body has its original, green paintwork which, being just slightly worn, has a great look. The steel and brass fittings have been polished and compliment the painted cast iron well. It is marked, in the casting, "PEUGEOT FRERES BREVETES S.G.D.G." and it dates from c.1880. This is one of the smaller sizes of coffee mill produced by Peugeot. It is a size "0", and this is also marked in the casting. It is in excellent, usable condition and the enamel to the interior is still in very good condition.
