    An unusual 19th Century Victorian silver-plated seven-bar folding toast-rack, having circular shaped wire-work bars and a loop handle, on an ingenious expandable folding frame with five ball feet, Circa 1880. Perfect to fit toast cut just as thick or thin as you like it! English, likely Sheffield plate, worn hallmark.

    All profits from the sale of this piece go to ‘The Plum Layton Charitable Trust’ which was set up in 2010, predominantly to raise funds for pancreatic cancer research. The fund is supporting the work being done at the Hammersmith Hospital and Imperial College
