    About this item

    A William IV silver vinaigrette made by John Betteridge in Birmingham in 1832.  The box is engine turned on all sides and has a vacant cartouch on the top. The interior has original gilding and is hallmarked on the top, bottom and grill. The grill is gilded and is fret cut flowers and scrolls. The box is in good condition and an excellent example of a vinaigrette.
