Antique Exquisite Jean Jaquet & Cie Silver NOS
Pocket Watch Swiss 1880
An antique exquisite Jean Jaquet & Cie silver NOS pocket watch, made in Switzerland in 1880. The pocket watch is complete with original signed box and original custom-made key.
Dial: the whiter enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions and outer 5-60-minute track. The dial has fine black hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six.
Movement: The high anchor lever bar movement has 15 jewels with compensated balance and regulator. The movement is very clean and in great working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.
Case: The watch lies in a silver open face case with a NOS condition engine turned back with a monogram free cartouche. The inner side of the case is stamped with the casemakers initials: AF and numbered: 408. The cuvette is decoratively signed: “Jean Jaquet & Cie, Neuchatel, Ancre, Quinze Rubis, No408”.
The original box is signed: Jean Jaquet & Cie, Neuchatel. The watch is complete with original custom-made key.
