Silver 0.800 MINT Pocket Watch With Lion on
Dial Case and Movement - Swiss 1930
A silver 0.800 mint open face pocket watch with lion on the dial, the case and on the movement. The pocket watch is made in Switzerland in the 1930’s.
Dial: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and red 13-24-hour numbers. The dial has golden antique style hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial has a lion in the centre.
Movement: The anchor lever movement has 15 jewels with a compensated balance and a stamped lion. The movement is in great working condition as it has just been serviced at the watchmaker, however; we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique watch.
Case: The watch lies in a silver open face case with a mint engine turned finish and a monogram free cartouche. The inner side of the case is stamped for silver 0.800 and has the lion and is numbered: 578960.The cuvette is decoratively signed: “½ Chronometre, Remontoir Spiral Breguet, 15 Rubis, Balancier Compense”.
