Wonderful piece of 18th century Georgian furniture, circa 1760 and in great original condition.
This architects desk or table has hinged side leaves to give more surface area when required, but also the full width drawer pulls forward and gives a further green baize covered writing surface which, in turn slides back to reveal a fully fitted interior too.
For use as originally intended, this desk works beautifully and the extra space and storage it offers makes it not only a practical working desk, but also a good decorative piece of antique Georgian furniture.
