Wonderful 18th century very early painted dial Long case this English oak cased Longcase benefits from a wonderful arch top with three matching finials the hood has inset panels with wooden caps lovely early case of early construction with a bull’s-eye pendulum viewing panel in the door step base with working lock for the trunk door. This incredible clock with good decoration Roman Arabic numerals with cut steel handles the deal is signed W Flint of Ashford the 1st line a long line of family makers from Ashford. Also has a date aperture this is a good tall early English long case and this is Clock measures 208cm high by 46cm wide by 23cm deep
