About this item
A pair of leather riding boots made by Alkit 'Service & Sporting Outfitters' of Cambridge Circus, London WC2, in approximately the 1930s. They have the Alkit name impressed into the leather inside the boots. They are complete with their original wooden boot lasts. These are in four parts that fit together. The top of each last bears a celluloid Alkit label. Also included is a pair of steel boot-pulls with turned ivory handles dating to the early 20th century.
