Antique Maps

Antique maps are among the most decorative and accessible of all antique prints. Antiques Boutique brings together county and town maps, sea charts, celestial charts, estate and railway plans and world maps from the sixteenth century onwards, including engraved and lithographed examples in original and later hand colour. Antique and vintage globes and map related items are listed here too.

Plate marks, watermarks, centrefolds and the quality of the colouring all matter to value, as does whether a sheet has been trimmed or laid down.
