About this item
This is an American pocket watch made by Hamilton with the unusual feature of a revolving disc showing the seconds instead of a hand
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and a micrometer regulator. The movement is signed “Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, Pa, 17 Jewels, Adjusted, 912” # 3413599 and is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a 14K Gold filled open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The case has a beautifully etched signature on the inside of the back cover “Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, Pa”. The case is decorated with raised milled detailing on the 3, 6 and 9 positions. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – superb condition
Dial – the silvered dial has a pair of fancy blue steel hands and a revolving sub seconds disc. The dial is signed “Hamilton” and is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 45mm x 9.5mm
The watch is stem wound / stem set
The watch comes in a leather box lined with velvet and silk and signed “Hamilton” This box also comes with its original cardboard sleeve
