This is an American Railroad grade pocket watch made by Hamilton

The watch has a good balance and spring and has the potential to work however the winder has been pulled out of its socket and will possibly need to be replaced as it is not engaging with the clutch now. The watch is sold with NO warranty

Movement – the high quality nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement, a micrometer regulator, gold train wheels, gold jewel settings and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed “Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, Pa, 21 Jewels, 992, Adj 5 positions, made in USA” # 2303925. The movement is in 95% mint condition – greasy and dirty

Case – the movement comes in a keystone 10K gold filled open face case, which has a screw off bezel and a hinged out movement. To release the movement you pull the winder out and this is where the damage done on the winder probably occurred.

The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition

Dial – the white enamel Montgomery dial is double sunk with a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Hamilton”. The dial is in 95% mint condition – a hairline on the 1 and a lot of grease marks also

The watch is stem wound / lever set – the winder is broken

The watch has a bevelled mineral glass

The watch measures 52mm wide x 14mm deep
