This movement has a good balance and fusee chain. The watch will tick for a few beats and then stop – it needs a good clean and service
Movement – the gilt full plate fusee movement has been converted from its original escapement to a lever. The movement features a finely pierced watch cock decorated with an engraved grotesque face, a gold balance and diamond endstone. The movement is signed “Brown, 65 Charing Cross, 2814” and is in 95% mint condition – a beautiful movement.
The movement has no dial or motion work
The movement measures 42mm x 10.6mm
The movement is key wound / key set
