    About this item

This watch is sold in our Watches for restoration section and does not come with a warranty. If you are looking for watch with a full warranty, please go to our Stock page or ask for assistance to find what you are looking for.

    This movement has been recased.

The watch has a good spring and balance and the watch will tick if the chronograph is working. If the chronograph is not working, this stops the watch from running too – see below

The winder will wind the watch and the pin will engage with the hand setting.

The repeater will chime – the hour has a good clear chime but the second gong is stuck under the centrifugal repeater wheel so the quarters strike as a Silent-ding instead of ding-ding.

The chronograph function seems to be complete but only works intermittently.

All functions for the calendar can be changed by their corresponding pins but only the date and moon change automatically. The two partially revealed revolving discs under the dial – day and month – don’t change and are also positioned upside down.

Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and a push down button activated quarter repeater function plus exposed steel work for the chronograph. The movement is in 80% mint condition – many little rough marks and scratches

Case – the hunter movement comes in an ill fitting white metal open face case, which has a hinged back and a snap on bezel. The case has a rubbed scene on the back and fluted edges and engraved bezel. The case is in 75% mint condition – it shows wear on the back.

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of gilt and steel hands. The dial requires attention as the two silvered day and month dials are missing lettering and are also upside down.

The dial is in 85% mint condition – a hairline on the 3 and an invisible forked hairline on the 9

The watch is stem wound / pin set – the winder does not always engage

The watch has a mineral glass

The watch measures 56mm wide x 20mm deep
