This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This is a solid 18K gold seal but it does not have any assay marks. It has been thoroughly tested and is sold with our 100% refund guarantee
The gold seal has an oval base set with a beautiful green bloodstone which is carved with an intaglio armorial crest of an eagle above a crown.
The seal has a domed ribbed gold base and a carved gold strut handle topped with a suspension loop
The seal measures 18mm x 11mm x 19mm and is in 95% mint condition.
