This is an American pocket watch which is working and keeping good time. It has not been cleaned or serviced by us and is sold with no warranty.

The winder needs to be pushed into wind the watch and this is very stiff.

This is a RARE Waltham pocket watch considered to be on of their best watches made. This watch was produced in a run 300 of total with a total production of 3660

Movement – the nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement, a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement has raised gold jewel settings and gold train wheels. The movement is signed “American Watch Co, Waltham, Mass, 23 Jewels” # 10552491. The movement is in 95% mint condition – an excellent example

Case – the movement comes in a Dennison gold plated open face case which has a hinged back and inner and a snap on bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 80% mint condition – bruises on the back and traces of metal coming through the plating on the back and edges

Dial – the white enamel double dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Thos Russell & Son, Liverpool, Made in the USA”. The dial is in 90% mint condition – a crack on the 1-2 and a scratch by the 4
