This is an 18 size pocket watch made by the Hamilton, USA.
Movement – the nickel full plate movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening screw set jewel settins. The movement is signed “Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, Pa, 17 Jewels, Lancaster, Pa, Adjusted” # 194741 and the movement is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a Dueber gold plated open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case has a chased sides with floral engraving on the back. The case is in 90% mint condition – overall this case is in superb condition but on the back the floral engraving is rubbed and on the side there is one very small patch of metal coming through the plating
Dial – the attractive white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Hamilton Watch Co” and is in 100% mint condition.
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch measures 54mm wide x 18mm deep
The watch is stem wound / lever set
