Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The inside of the back cover is stamped “Fahys Monarch No 1, Pat Feb 19th 1884”. The inside of the back cover is also hand engraved with the owners name J Schmitz Jr
The case is decorated with coin edged sides and floral engraving on the back with a small engraved house.
