    This English fusee pocket watch movement has a good chain but the balance has bent pivots – sometimes it swings perfectly, other times it does not.

    Movement – Gilt 3/4  plate fusee movement has a lever escapement with a gold balance. The movement is signed “Joseph Penlington, Liverpool, N0 5562 ” and is in 85% mint condition – incomplete – no regulator and pinion to set the hands

    The movement has a working stop start lever for the centre seconds hand

    Dial – the off white enamel dial has a pair of blue steel hands and half a centre seconds hand. The dial is in 85% mint condition – chips around the edge.

    The movement is key wound / key set

    The movement measures 43mm x 8mm
