    This English cylinder pocket watch has a good balance and chain and is running but has not been cleaned or serviced and is sold with no warranty and no guarantees

    Movement – the gilt full plate fusee movement has a cylinder escapement with a brass ‘scape wheel and a 3 arm steel balance with a ruby endstone. The movement is signed “Hatton & Harris, London” 1665 and is in 95% mint condition

    The movement has its original gilt dust cap

    Case – the movement comes in a gilt open face re case, which has a hinged back and bezel and the watch is wound from the back, set from the front and swings out from the front also. However as this is not an original case, you have to swing the watch out from teh front to wind it. The case has coin edged sides and engine turning. The case is in 80% mint condition – rubbing to the engine turning and some bruises and dents on the back

    Dial – the white enamel dial has mismatched hands and a gilt subsidiary seconds hand. The dial is signed “Hatton & Harris, 1665” and is in 85% mint condition – a patched repair on the 12 and a hairline running through the centre of the dial

    The watch has a bulls eye mineral glass

    The watch measures 55mm wide x 26mm deep
