    This pocket watch has a good balance and chain but is fully wound and will require a clean and service. This watch is not sold with a warranty or our usual guarantee

    The watch has clear hallmarks for London 1822

    Movement – the gilt full plate fusee movement has a Massey I lever escapement. The movement is not signed but numbered 1371. The movement has a stop start lever and tewh watch cock is decorated with an ornate engraving with a grotesque face. The movement is in 95% mint condition – a very clean looking movement 

    Inner case – the English silver inner case has a hinged bezel and the watch is wound from the back, set from the front and swings out from the front also. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – a very clean case, apart from the usual grove from the outer case but this has left a faint ridge only

    Outer case – this is the original outer case. The case has a smooth plain finish. The case is lacking its original clasp and button but stays closed nonetheless and the case is in 95% mint condition – a very clean case

    Dial – the off white enamel dial has a pair of gilt hands and a blue steel sub seconds hand. The dial is in 99% mint condition

    The watch has a mineral glass

    The watch measures 56mm wide x 21mm deep
