About this item
This pocket watch was made in the Thos Russell factory in Switzerland. It was then sent to England where it was cased in an English silver case with hallmarks for Birmingham 1921 and sold by Thos Russell & Sons, Liverpool
Movement – this good quality nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and has 17 jewels in raised screw held, gold jewel settings. The movement is also decorated with damascening and is signed “Thos Russell & Sons, Liverpool, Swiss Made, 17 Jewels, Adjusted” # 201720. The movement is in 95% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in an English silver open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Thos Russell & Son, Liverpool, Swiss Made”. The dial is in 100% mint condition
The watch has a bevelled mineral glass
The watch measures 50mm wide x 15mm deep
The watch is stem wound / stem set
