This is a gilt French verge made circa 1810
This watch is NOT complete and is sold for case and parts
The movement has a broken balance, a broken balance and NO motion work under the dial
Movement – the gilt full plate verge fusee movement has a pierced watch cock decorated with pierced work signed Japy & Fils.
The movement latch is rusted and so will not go in the case
Case – the leton gilt case has NO bezel.
The case is decorated on the back with an enamel scene but the orientation is off. The case has no damage to the enamel just scratches and all the paste stones are missing
The white enamel dial is in poor condition
Measures 51mm wide across the dial plate x 15mm deep
