This watch will run however this movement has been recased. In order to set the hands or wind it, you must press down on the winder for the winding and the lever set to engage

The watch has not been cleaned or serviced

This is a hunter movement in an open face case

Movement – the high grade nickel bridge movement has a lever escapement with a large micrometer regulator with cam. The movement has a raised gold jewel setting in the centre. The movement is signed “Giles Bro & Co, Chicago, No 23242”. The movement is in 80% mint condition – stains and dirt

The watch is signed J Mornard under the dial

Case – the movement comes in a gold plated open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case has carved edges, stem and bow and striped damascening on the back. The case has a vacant crest and is in 80% mint condition – the case has very little wear and is a good example but the bezel has had an old solder repair and there is evidence of the solder in places with a small split

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of hands and is signed “Giles Bro & Co, Chicago”. The dial is in 95% mint condition

The watch is stem wound / lever set

The watch measures 49mm wide x 14mm deep
