This pocket watch has a good balance and chain and will tick.
Movement – the gilt full plate fusee movement has a Massey III type lever escapement with a 3 arm steel balance and large diamond endstone. The movement is decorated with a fleur de lis motif on the base of the watchcock. The movement is signed “Wm Lister, Newcastle upon Tyne, 3011, Detached Lever”. The movement is in 95% mint condition – superb condition.
The movement has its original gilt dust cap
Dial – the off white enamel dial has no hands and is in 90% mint condition – a hairline in the centre
The movement measures 47mm x 13mm
The movement is key wound / key set
