The watch has a good balance and spring but is fully wound and will only tick for a while

The day and date functions change every 24 hours and although they have their springs and pins, you cannot set them manually as the pins go in but don’t move the functions along. The moonphase has lost its pin for manual setting. The month function works fine.

Movement – the gilt bridge movement has a lever escapement and is in 80% mint condition – some scratches and marks

Case – the movement comes in a gunmetal open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and snap on bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 70% mint condition – the case is a good example but the gunmetal has become uneven in colour and the gilt bow etc are brassy

Dial – the silvered and gilt metal dial has a day, date, month and moonphase dial. These dials have lost their lettering.  The dial has a full set of blue steel hands and pointers. The dial is decorated with gilt floral engraving. The dial is in 65% mint condition – tarnished and needs restoration

The watch has a large bevelled mineral glass – loose and with some small chips on the edge

The watch measures 66mm wide x 20mm deep

The watch is stem wound / pin set
