The watch has clear assay marks for 18K gold and hallmarks for London 1831

Movement – the gilt full plate fusee movement has an English cylinder escapement with an S shaped bi metallic balance wheel. The movement has a push down stem activated quarter repeater function. The movement is signed “James Shearer, Devonshire Street, Queen Square, London, No 468”. The movement is in 90% mint condition – light marks and scratches
Case – the movement comes in a huge 18K gold open face case, which has a hinged back, inner and bezel. The case is decorated with coin edged sides and engine turning. The case has case makers marks for “TW”. The case is in 95% mint condition – a beautiful large gold case
Dial – the off white enamel dial has a pair of blue steel beetle and poker hands with a sub seconds dial also. The dial is in 90% mint condition – several fine hairlines on the sub seconds dial and on one the 12 and 7
The watch measures 54mm wide x 19mm deep
The watch has a mineral glass
The watch is key wound / key set and comes with a key
