This is classic American Railroad pocket watch movement made by the Hamilton Watch Co.
Movement – this high grade ¾ plate nickel movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and a gold capped escape wheel. The movement also has gold train wheels, raised gold jewel settings and is decorated with striped damascening. The movement is signed “Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, PA, 21 Jewels 992, Adj 5 positions” # 2420757.
The movement is in 95% mint condition – a small mark on the signature
Dial – the white enamel Montgomery dial is is double sunk. The dial is signed “Hamilton” and is in 99% a scratch near the lever
The movement measures 42.4mm x 7.7mm
