This pocket watch was made by the Hampden Watch company USA and is an American Railroad grade pocket watch
Movement – the nickel full plate movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and is decorated with damascening. The movement has gold jewel settings and is signed “The Dueber Watch Co, Canton, Ohio, 21 Jewels, Adjusted” # 2451373. The movement is in 90% mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a two piece coin silver case. The bezel screws off, you then pull the winder out to release the movement which sits in a hinged holder. The case has a smooth plain finish with turned detailing on the bezel and is in 90% mint condition – a small bruise on the edge and a light dimple bruise on the back
Dial – the white enamel is double sunk and comes with a full set of blue steel hands. The dial is signed “Hampden Watch Co” and is in 99% mint
The watch is stem wound / lever set
The watch has a thick bevelled mineral glass
The watch measures 57mm wide x 20mm deep
